Description
We cut this stone with the natural live edge intact. This allows a nice showing of the live edge with prized streaks of black manganese, across the top of the stone! Look at the full spectrum of color!
I set this interesting Rhodonite stone into a partial bezel setting of fine silver with one prong on top.
Then, I added a black onyx ring and beads to reinforce the black tones in the stone. It looks particularly stunning when worn with a black, white, green or fuchsia top. I roll printed the sterling backplate with dried leaves and grasses for one of a kind texture.
You choose two different lengths to wear this piece!
I created a hand forged toggle bar to insert into the black onyx ring, for a 19”long chain. This allows an extra 4.5” of length for the dangle.
Or drop the toggle into the ring at the top of pendant for a 22” chain. This stone was custom cut and polished by George Barris in our own Lapidary Studio.
