My inspiration for chirch time…
One day when my granddaughter, Lily, was quite young, we were at church. She became restless, as small children do, so I gave her an index card and a pen from my handbag, as any “Mimi” would. She looked around the church then settled down with her pen and paper in hand. The result was her “chirch time, kids” sketch. Lily gifted me with her perfectly charming sketch, and it has been posted on my studio wall ever since. This one drawing and my memories of Lily and her sisters with me in my studio, inspired my series of rustic crosses. I hope you find them creative and thought provoking.
